What your Doctor isn't Telling You. Psychiatry vs. Physical Medicine Dr. Moria Dolan, Executive Director for the Medical Accountability Network discusses the link between antidepressants medications and suicide, violence and school shootings. Seung-hui Cho w/ the Virginia Tech massacre adds to a long list of incidents over the last 15 to 20 years including Columbine and Red Lake High, She also discusses antidepressant drugs like like Prozac, Zoloft, Paxil, Luvox, Celexa, Lexapro, Effexor or Wellbutrin. These medications are known to cause adverse events which can contribute to violence such as hallucinations, agitation, emotional instability, violence, paranoia, etc. These adverse events are clearly labeled on the FDA approved prescribing information leaflet for the medication. These labels often contain confusing medical terms and Dr. Dolan explains in plain English what these adverse events means. Although the psychiatric advertising jargon of the chemical imbalance in the brain theory is widely promoted, Dr. Dolan points out that there are no biological markers for mental disorders. There are no physical tests done to measure someone's brain chemistry. Depression is widely associated with the neurotransmitter serotonin however, there is no standard by which one can measure an abnormal serotonin level. Additionally, SSRI (Selective serotonin reuptake inhibitors) as well as other psychiatric drugs show an affect in the brain during brain scans whereas psychiatric diagnosis don't. so many lives were lost before these warnings were out. You will see more in the days ahead on the past drugs that also had these side effects adverse affects..and it was too later for the families to save their loved one! the clues were all there..but family members did not have ANY INFO TO COMPARE THE ACTIONS OF THE PATIENT. EVEN THE DOCTORS BACK THEN! it is criminal what these drug companies do to sell their drugs. CONCEALED DATA PROVES IT. STAY TUNED FOR MORE OF MY TRUE STORY I WITNESSED!

I'll bet many of the people who get violent are people who are on doses higher than they need and then suddenly stop. If I forget to take mine, I'm kicking inanimate objects and cussing alot, and I'm normally one of the sweetest people you'll ever want to meet. Also, I narrowly escaped somebody I thought was my friend until he turned on me after having drank on prozac. He had no intention of quitting the brain games he played on himself, so I stayed the #$@* away from him after that!

"If I stop for a couple days I can't sleep, I can't stand being around people, I feel awful." Those are withdrawal or "discontinuation syndrome" as industry likes to call it. After 30 years your body is addicted to them and can't function correctly without them.

I've experienced a lot of these side effects. But what can you do? I've been on SSRI's and Cymbalta for years. If I stop for a couple days I can't sleep, I can't stand being around people, I feel awful. So I've been on antidepressants of one sort or another for over 30 years; talk therapy is fine, but it's not enough.

Please go to Yahoo and type in "Horrible Truth About Psychiatric Drugs" to see a research paper exposing these drugs. Also so the search "Documented Proof Psychiatric Drugs Shorten Lifespan". Be sure to include the quotes. You will learn information no psychiatrist will tell you. These drugs destroy fertility and libido and cause impotence and extream disphoria and obesity. The promote suicide and violence not prevent it.

When I was 14 I was put on antidepressants and I was thinking about homicide a lot, revenge and just started feeling morbid, I took myself of them and it was after that the homicidal thoughts vanished. It was very out of character for me to think about being violent so am very concerned thinking back on it.

I have had panic attacks since i was 13 years old..It has cost me all my friends, relationships, ability to make an income etc. I have been on many different drugs.I am 54 now....and thank god most of my life is over so I can die and get some peace.
inkey2 (November 30, 1999 at 12:00 am)
I have been on a lot of drugs over my lifetime....and Prozac made me very agressive.....and wanting to pick fights and arguments....and that was on a low dose. I eventually went off it.

Not patient, thats what you used to be, it's patent expiration dummy. How is it that all the info in this video is just coming out now that the PATENTS are expiring. There were many p-docs who knew about this stuff but only a few had the guts to speak out. They were older guys, for the most part, who could afford to be ostracized... and they were.
