I believe Clannad is going to have the happy ending that occurs in the game if you collect the orbs of light, or so I've heard that's how the good ending for ~after story~ is obtained.
There is no use in them having the same ending in the movie and the ~After story~ series. I'm pretty sure they'll want to close Clannad with a good ending like the first series.

Clannad and After Story both deal with the orbs of lights the movie didn't touch. It SHOULD be the good ending in After story, imo.

i heard that after story would end differently to the movie---more according to the game. but thats just what i heard.

This is the image song from the movie. It was available to people who pre-ordered tickets to the movie. It does not appear in either the game or anime series. A heads up, though, the Clannad movie is very different from the game's story and WILL spoil you for After Story if you haven't seen it.
