Hi, KreepyKrawlie.
You're right, Paul O'Dette is a wonderful, proper, lute player. Quite unlike myself; I'm just some bod having a play! :-)
Best wishes.
Alan.

Try looking for the artist Paul O'Dette. He has some pretty amazing lute recordings!

Sounds wonderful! However, you look like you'd be more at home playing on a rock in the middle of a calm lake on a misty morning! At least that what the music makes me think of.

ahhh but it does and just imagine what a masterfully crafted lute in its time and prime woulda sounded like!!!

lol :D
anyway its really moody. lute was a quite popular instrument in my country, hungary too in the 16-17th century and played important role in hungarian folk music, so it sounds really familiar to me. great job!

how can such a beautiful sound emanate from such an ugly boat paddle of an instrument
it sounds like a really nice classical guitar

Hi, daniedraco...all I can suggest really is just search the web! I believe there is a Lute Society in the USA nowadays, maybe even Canada?
Best of luck.
