those African were slaves in Ottoman times
and were treated like animals by the Turkish slave traders, after seeing this clip im really ashamed of that fact...

There are many clips that use the 1997 Spielberg's movie 'Amistad' as a source. I recommend watching it full... it is quite long but gives a good introduction to the story. Beware though that there are many historical inaccuracies so do not take all the datils as historical facts. Do you know that a recreation of Amistad was built in 2000 in Mystic Seaport in CT and in 2007/2008 sailed around Atlantic visiting Sierra Leone in Africa - country of historical captives.
