You are right my brother. Do not waste any more time on this fool magnietuit we ( as I struggle not to do) we all fall into a death circle. You and I know who HH is and what he represents. HH has talked about mistakes pre 1950 he and his regrets. Free Tibet. Long live HH.

Parenti is in error.
Tibet is no theocracy.
Buddhism flatly states that there is no God.

When Hu was still in power?

i don't give a goddamn crap about this bullshit Chinese history. And no, YOU are the one missing my point. My point is that the Chinese treat the Tibetans the same way the Japanese treated the Chinese which caused the Chinese to hate the Japanese, yet the Chinese fid it just to do the same thing to Tibetans. Chinese hipocrisy cannot and must not be tolerated. Free TIbet!

They probably gave him old stuff they did not want. So it is likely to be rubbish.

when he was still in power, he didn't call it as invasion, when he gave up his power, he called it invasion.
is tibet his backyard? his own garden?

in 1956, tibet become the only place which still didn't do anything for social reform, ccp built several hospitals yet still hoping dllm could carry out the promise.
did he fulfilled what he promised? no!
in 1959, he and his nobel elites fled to india, since then he said china invaded tibet and killed millions of tibetans.
while if you surf ROC website which is in taiwan, till 1949 the total population was barely 1 million!
how come he needs 8 years to realize it was invasion?

on 1954, DLLM was chosen as the vice chairman of the central government, only one level below mao. he met mao, wrote poem to appraise him. this poem is also kept in the museaum in beijing.
in 1954, he gave report at the first national congress and promised he would carry out social reform. while did he do anything to improve the living condition of his own people? no!

no, I am not missing any point, it is you who didn't know the whole story.
ccp was firstly in tibet in 1951, before they arrived, pachen lama 10 has already welcomed them by saying "tibet is yours" to mao! the telegram is still in musea!
in 1951, 17 points were signed, dllm confirmed it on 24 oct. 1951. 17 point stipulated that Tibet is a part of China!
it was when the convention signed, few thousands of chinese troops moved into lhasa and it was always few thousands. |
