Quizas no sea el mejor tecnicamente, pero la expresividad con la que toca lo hacen unico. Grande Clapton

i love how he puts emotion in his stratocaster, or any guitar in that matter, he is one of the best, no wonder he was called god

He said it, and he said it many times. When he would play with Stevie, he always would get blown of the stage and Eric was always aware of it and he knew that he was seeing something supernatural and unreal happening. Eric is great, but Stevie was better than him and he nailed the blues like nobody else. Trully one of a kind. In Eric's book the best are Stevie Ray Vaughan, B.B King, Buddy Guy and Jimi Hendrix.
You can't beat such a league of the very best.

Everyone likes the blues. No matter who you are... Even if you don't know it.

Ec have never said that SRV was better, but he said that BB King is the most important bluesplayer in all historie, according to his autobiography. Next, there is no best guitarist in the world, there is different styles, so it´s a matter of taste. In my bluesbook I prefer EC, Peter Green, Buddy Guy,Freddie King and BB King

Clapton also is extremely humble. Just because he said SRV was better doesn't make it true. I'm a huge fan of both..personally I couldn't say either is better than the other but you have to think about who is saying that before you use it as an argument. |
