Interesting. But as far has monitoring is concerned, it's much more practical (and efficient) to plant rotatable (hidden) cameras throughout the house, that are controllable via voice, keyboard, joystick command. Very annoying to view your house from the ground up.

very informitve, amazing and this guy figured this out himself? wow. i want this but the USB Uirt is hard to find anywhere but ebay or amazon so im waiting for robodance 5.

This is VERY unpractical ! , you can just control it with a text serial terminal over the internet and still have a video feedback using a wifi connection to a an old computer running a web server using some free DNS service , in this way you can control every single step and even make some scripts to do things more autonomously like self charging and doing patrols , saving sound and video on the computer . But yeah , not every body does this , its too complicated for the average user.

u should put a stick on robo quad and have him turn on all the robots and have him press there buttons on the controlls. |
